May is the month when Sydney brightens up with lights, illumines with creative ideas, and goes absolutely vibrant, vivacious and vivid!

Vivid Sydney is a festival that perks up Sydneysiders and attracts outsiders, interstate as well as international, to Sydney in tens of thousands! The festival arouses the city to a two-week long celebration of music, theatre, films and art! This year, co-curated by the creative duo Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson, the festival’s hottest talents will meet and perform under the sails of the Sydney Opera House!

Lighting the Sails is a major attraction of Sydney where you see Sydney Opera House lit up in breath-taking hues and eye-catching designs! Last year, Brian Eno’s creativity in lighting up the sails left thousands speechless as they watched in awe the changing images on a world famous iconic canvas!

During the “luminous” festival, almost all of the historic structures and landmarks in Sydney get decorated with lights! The Sydney Harbour presents the prettiest picture of the city’s dazzling skyline during this time! This is a must-see, never-miss view of Vivid Sydney!

Enjoy the view of the city lighting up from any of the waterfront venues! Or better still, board on a cruise around the Sydney Harbour and enjoy the lights, the views and a fantastic dinner and drinks served with utmost sophistication and in great style!

What with the lights, the views and the experience of the harbour, you might as well make a night of it!
